After doing a bit more research to it, I decided to focus on one ghost.
I think one of the most famous Japanese mythological beings is the nine-tailed fox. And the most famous nine-tailed fox is called Tamamo-no-Mae (玉藻前), famous for turning into a human form and seducing the emporer of the Muromachi era.
I think she would fit my style a lot more, rather than just adding a lot of different styles to the piece that represents a different ghosts. This would probably make the entire piece way more coherent instead of a overload of way too many elements
