Creative sound project
Ive actually had a thought on what to do since I set classical music as my main topic, and using your lie in april as my main point. I could give myself the excuse I always needed to do this project
To do my own arrangement of Chopin’s Ballade No.1 Op.23 in G minor for Violin and Piano, my own version.
Ysaye already has done one, but mine goes for a different approach, Ysaye’s arrangement focuses on the violin taking the main melody, and the piano accompanies the violin for most of the time, and the version in Your lie in april does the exact opposite, where the violin accompanies the piano.
But in my own thoughts, I want this piece to be like a call in response, where the melody switches between the two instruments, and not one overpowering each other. This piece means a lot to me and by doing this, is like paying a tribute to my past self.
